Soft and Chewy with fruity Jelly Beans...Delicious!

Jelly Bean Nougat

These delicous confections are made with sugar or honey, 
roasted nuts (almonds, walnuts, pistachios, hazelnuts or macadamia nuts), whipped egg whites, and sometimes chopped candied fruit. In this case we have used different flavored jelly beans to give them a fruity flavor and you have your choice of flavor combinations!
The consistency of our nougat is soft and chewy. 

A little history....White nougat ("mandorlato" or "torrone" in Italy), made with beaten egg whites and honey appeared in Cremona, Italy in the early 15th century
